В недавней дискуссии со своим коллегой по команде Гришей Талдыкиным мы коснулись этой темы. Примером послужил перспективный стантрайдер из Москвы Павел Чопоров. У Паши есть смелость, есть мотивация, есть стиль и много хороших трюков, но отстаёт стоппи. Причиной являются две сломанные ранее ключицы, страх падения и получения ещё более тяжёлой травмы. И это можно понять. Что в этом случае делать молодому спортсмену, как продолжать тренировки? Мой ответ такой – делать как можно больше стоппи! Каждый выезд, каждую тренировку начинать именно с проездов на переднем колесе и уделять этому как можно больше времени.

Этот трюк делается на грани, и если её перейти, то последует падение – это факт. Отсутствие волшебного рычага, нажатие на который не даст вам кувыркнуться вперёд, является главным отличием стоппи от вилли. В вилли педаль заднего тормоза или рычаг дублёра страхуют вас от падения. В стоппи нет. Но значительно снизать риск падения можно очень простым способом – не подходить близко к грани. То есть делать стоппи в угле, в котором будет запас до «точки невозврата». И делать надо таких стоппи как можно больше. Ещё один плюс такого выполнения трюка в снижении риска «расколбаса», когда руль начинает сильно бить в обе стороны. Передняя подвеска из-за сильного изменения угла «атаки» к поверхности начинает работать некорректно, чем вызывает эти опасные колебания. Снижение угла при выполнении проездов на переднем колесе убирает этот неприятный эффект.

Да, вы немного потеряете в зрелищности трюка, но это будет оправданно значительным снижением риска падения. Это даст вам мощную мотивацию и возможность идти вперёд, имея в арсенале самый эффектный базовый трюк в стантрайдинге.
