Founded in 1900, the company Yamaha tried their hand at the motorcycle industry only in 1954. Before that, the firm started by Thorakusu Yamaha was associated only with musical instruments.
As told above, in 1954, the company presented its first YA-1 motorcycle. It was equipped with a single-cylinder 125-cc engine and a volume of 125 cc.

In 1970, the company took a big risk by investing time and money in the development of their first XS-1 motorcycle with a four-stroke engine.

In 1985, the first sports bike of the company showed up. It contributed to the R1 series. As for the R1, it was introduced in 1998 - the most powerful Yamaha motorcycle driven by a 998-cc 150-hp motor.

If you are particularly interested in the Yamaha bike line-up, we offer you to look through this 2020 yamaha review.

Yamaha MT-07
(https://bike.net/Yama…MT_07_2019)

The 2020 Yamaha MT-07 model appears to be a representative of the new line of road motorcycles of the street class. The new 689-cc in-line engine was created using Crossplane proprietary technology. As a matter of fact, the angle between the crankpins amounts to 270 degrees. The given scheme makes it possible to achieve linear torque growth and excellent acceleration from the motor. Moreover, inertia and fuel consumption are reduced too. The powerplant is mounted in a light steel ridge frame with a short base as well as narrow sides. It undoubtedly improved the maneuverability of the latest motorcycle.

Yamaha XSR900
(https://bike.net/Yama…SR900_2019)

The latest Yamaha XSR900 boasts a bright and unusual retro look. All decorative elements as well as mounting brackets are made of aluminum. The original look is backed by the catchy seats with a pronounced step, a round light-headlamp, and a classic dashboard. The decent performance of the new bike is ensured by the 900-cc powerplant.

The telescopic fork and the 2019 bike’s single-sided pendulum boast progressive characteristics with a full range of adjustments that ensure comfortable spring settings for compression and the decent level of hydraulic stiffness. Having the classic appearance, the dashboard of the motorcycle provides a wide amount of information. It is impressively functional and highly informative. So, it has up to 10 indicators and a digital display with a simple design that ensures easy perception.

Yamaha YZF-R3
(https://bike.net/Yama…ZF_R3_2019)

The new YZF-R3 combines balanced features suitable for everyday use. Thanks to innovative technology and comfortable control, the given bike has set the quality standard for compact and light motorcycles. The sporty look of the latest YZF-R3 expresses a strong desire to merge with dense city traffic. Furthermore, a unique impression is also created by aggressive-looking twin fairing headlights as well as aerodynamic cladding.

The 42-hp powerplant mounted into the light frame creates sufficient traction for dynamic starts. The torque is transmitted to the rear wheel by means of a 6-speed gearbox and a reliable chain drive. An advanced compact exhaust system allows the 2019 YZF-R3 powerplant to function easier, fitting ergonomically into the overall integrity of the best bike’s design.

The carefully calibrated suspension provides incredibly sharp control and increased energy efficiency. The precise operation of the motorcycle’s brake system is ensured by the 298 and 220 mm hydraulic discs and the optionally available ABS system. In addition to this, the new motorcycle comes with a multifunctional dashboard with highly-informative indicators.
