Description

There's no denying that the journey Arch Motorcycle had to date nothing short of amazing. Initially kicking off as an early weekend vanity project, the company has been nurtured by Hollywood movie icon Keanu Reeves and Gard Hollinger, later turning this into a motorcycle manufacturing heavyweight.

ARCH METHOD 143 Motorcycle

Overview

Until 2017, the manufacturing outfit already had two motorcycle models under their name. However, this was when the company decided to propel towards a new journey-developing a brand new flagship model, the Arch Method 143. It is essential to mention that the new dream project was essentially a power cruiser featuring a powerful V-Twin engine beneath its hood. Moreover, the presentation plan included a carbon fiber mono-cell chassis with exquisite materials all around.

It’s equally noteworthy to mention that Arch Motorcycles collaborated forces with the Swiss 2-stroke specialists, Suter Racing. This strategic partnership would help them upgrade their technical knowledge before committing to their new flagship model, Method 143.

Appearance

Joining hands with Suiter Racing assisted Arch in developing a fresh swing arm, later machined by CNC with a carbon fiber cover. During the process, engineers from the SC-Project offered top-grade full titanium and carbon-fiber exhaust system.

Build

There's no denying that Arch Method is genuinely one of the most recognizable motorcycles in the world. This feat can be credited to both the specifications as well as the appearance of the vehicle. The external surface carries a unique layering design concept and elegant craftsmanship, which feature carbon fiber, fine leather, and artistically designed CNC machined aluminum.

Arch Motorcycle has machined about 200 custom parts made from billet aluminum, thereby helping it look raw and stunning simultaneously. Moreover, the leather lies layered all over the bodywork around the seat and the tank area. One cannot deny that this makes for a modern bespoke take on styling.

Design

Keen motorcycle aficionados will notice that Method 143 is drastically different from KRGT-1, especially the cruiser-style riding position present in the former model. The latter comes with a much improved aggressive riding position, matching its appearance suitably.

Talking more about the build of the model, the vehicle has handlebars right down to the fuel tank level, while the foot controls are placed right down the rider for greater convenience. Floating discs and ISR radial-mount brake calipers give true holding power for the BST carbon fiber 'turbine' wheels, with the Michelin Power RS rubber holding the transport on the road.

Engine

Coming on to the engine, the bike is blessed with a beastly 143ci/2343cc V-twin power plant, thereby making the Method 143 run on an enviable 170 HP.

Furthermore, the people at Arch have fashioned the motorcycle with state-of-the-art add-on equipment not to go completely overboard when hitting the road. This equipment is Ohlin’s proprietary FGRT series fork, Ohlin’s proprietary rear shock, both fully adjustable at the front and the back look after the suspension duties.

Additionally, the brakes in the transport don't get left much behind. The very reputable and reliable ISR dual six 30mm piston Monobloc radial-mount calipers have been used in the model, and ISR floating dampened discs at the front and Dual ISR four-piston Monobloc radial-mount caliper ISR semi-floating disc at the rear.

Other Highlights

Lastly, it is only necessary to mention the other significant mentions of defining the beast that is Arch Method 143. It features slick Michelin Power RS tires for rubber patch contact onto the road. Moreover, the instrument and the lighting cluster in this particular Arch variant are ahead of their time, essentially getting a trendy flair.

In conclusion, it is only noteworthy that the bike packs a punch, bringing a carbon fiber airfoil fork. Similarly, the faux air-scoops encourage the motorcycle to get a stealth fighter-kind of character. What truly accentuates this standout piece of modern-day engineering are its red accents, essentially making the vehicle arguably the finest power-cruiser available in the retail store.
