Models of Kawasaki Cruisers

Cruisers, large and powerful machines usually equipped with a V-twin engine, are mostly US motorcycles, but Japanese manufacturers have managed to get a significant share of the market with their reliable and low-priced products. Kawasaki is one those companies, which products can often be found in the list of top bikes available for sale.

A Brief History of Kawasaki Cruisers

Cruisers are the motorcycles that first appeared in the early 1930s to satisfy the demand of people who needed to travel long distances on their machines. Until the late 1960s, there were many exciting cruisers built, and even today some bike enthusiasts still prefer these massive vehicles to many other options. Kawasaki was one of those manufacturers, who provided a range of interesting cruiser motorcycles in different countries, including the USA.

In 1984, the manufacturer introduced the Vulcan series, and in ten years, the Vulcan 2000 by Kawasaki appeared on the market. This was a motorcycle that challenged other manufactures with its larger engine displacement and greater power. Over the next several decades the manufacturer produced a range of bikes within the Vulcan series, as well as Eliminator, Estrella, 454 LTD, and other interesting machines. There is a range of the 2018 motorcycles designed by the manufacturer, including Vulcan Vaquero ABS, Vulcan 900 Classic LT, Vulcan S ABS Café, and other motorcycles.

The Most Popular Cruisers by Kawasaki

The Kawasaki Vulcan 650 belongs to the low-priced machines from the major motorcycle manufacturer. The bike features slim chassis, ErgoFit (which allows adjusting riding position), ABS, and economy riding indicator.

The Vulcan VN2000 is a big motorcycle and has lots of black paint and chrome. The Kawasaki vehicle comes with soft suspension, which in combination with low ground clearance does not allow rushing this machine. It is equipped with fuel-injected, SOHC engine, which is pretty powerful, though, it is not that great as a 1600cc Harley.

The Vulcan 900 Custom comes with one of the largest engines allowing the Kawasaki machine to cruise around without any problems. The 903cc engine of the motorcycle is capable of producing 58.2 lb-ft. The weight of the bike is 611 lbs. It also features a 5-speed gearbox and the 5.3-gal. fuel capacity, which allows using the vehicle on the highways. The 2018 model of this bike is available at a price of around $8,500.

The design of the Kawasaki VN1500 Drifter was inspired by the 1940s Indian Chief. This motorcycle was produced during 1999-2005. It comes with a 1,470 fuel-injected liquid-cool engine. The vehicle comes with a long, sleek, and beautiful design.
