Description

Any bike lover is well-informed about the automobile mogul Suzuki. They are a Japanese manufacturer who has been in the industry for decades and have surely plastered their position here. That said, if you have been a fan of cruiser bikes, you will surely remember the Suzuki Boulevard M50.

First launched in the year 2005, this bike made quite an impression in the market. However, due to some imperfections, it had to be discontinued in the year 2009, with a very average run.

SUZUKI BOULEVARD 400 motorcycle

The Suzuki Boulevard 400 was again launched in the year 2010 and since then have surely rectified all its flaws. There are many changes in the newer rendition, starting from the looks of the bike to its specifications.

On the other hand, whatever was already fine with the bike have been left over. All in all, it seems like Suzuki had a clear idea of what they wanted from the bike and has indeed delivered it.

Appearance

This might sound a bit harsh but, what the Boulevard M50 makes up in performance, it lacks in appearance. While some people like the bulky yet powerful presence of the M50, most find it aged. Since looks are a subjective matter, this might be a decision for you to make yourself.

Overall, there is nothing wrong with the looks of the bike. With a big clear headlight and LED taillights, you can only expect the best. Along with that, you will get three-spoked black alloy wheels.

The indicators are also big and bright, and visible from either side. With that, you get an instrument cluster on the fuel tank. Here you can view your speed, along with some necessary information. You also have a showier engine compartment and two exhaust pipes. This makes the bike have more gravitas and confidence.

Engine

In addition to that, there is a very powerful 399.00 CC Engine that can produce a maximum power of 32.18 BHP @ 8000 RPM and a peak torque of 33.00 Nm @ 6000 RPM. This is a fuel-injected, 4-stroke V-twin liquid-cooled engine.

These numbers are as good on the road as they look on paper. This engine has a 5-speed transmission and can go from 0-100 Km/H in 9.8 seconds to a maximum of 150. Suzuki has really been able to find a balance between making a powerful yet efficient engine.

Comfort

When it comes to comfort, cruisers are the first bike to come to mind, and Suzuki has lived up to that expectation. If you are fond of a rather relaxed posture of riding, you will surely find this bike to be the best choice for you.

Along with that, you will get comfortable and broad seats. Such attention to detail can further help prevent any backaches while on long rides.

Safety

Suzuki has not compromised with safety on the M50 at all. With the wide-body, you get more balance of the bike, and the suspensions and braking system have been appropriately tuned. However, it would be nice if Suzuki would include a disc brake in the rear as well. The front consists of a 300 mm single disc two-piston caliper brand, and the rear has a regular drum brake.

The bike also comes with an inverted telescopic fork for the front and a swingarm with a mono-shock for the rear to avoid jerking. These are some features that make the bike worth its price.

From all the information mentioned here, it can be safely said that the Suzuki Boulevard M50 is quite a safe buy. If you want a cruiser at a reasonable price, along with all the latest features, there is no better option than the M50.

However, if you are looking to make an impression with the looks, this might not be a bike for you. In conclusion, this is a bike for long-ride lovers, and you can really feel the efficiency of Suzuki with it.
