Harley-Davidson released a motorcycle
American motorcycle manufacturer Harley-Davidson is going to release a production model electric vehicles in the next five years. This statement was made Vice-President of the company Sean Cummings, reports The Verge.

No details about the serial electric motorcycle Cummings failed. The publication notes that using such a model in the Harley-Davidson want to attract to their products the attention of a younger audience.

Harley-Davidson has already done electric motorcycle prototype in the framework of the project LiveWire. The concept was created in order to know the opinion of clients about the motorcycles that run on electricity. Feedback about the prototype were collected during the US tour.

From standstill to 96 kilometers per hour the Harley-Davidson LiveWire is dispersed approximately for four seconds and its top speed is about 160 kilometers per hour. The maximum speed of the concept is approximately 90 kilometers. To recharge the batteries of an electric motorcycle, took three and a half hours.
